It’s supposedly a very good gun for urban operations, due to the short length and low recoil. Good stopping power vs unarmored threats, not so much against body armor (which you’re unlikely to encounter in this sort of situation). It also takes 45 ACP rounds, one of the most common rounds in America.
So, yeah, it’s something an operator in this situation might probably use.
]]>He was clearly on a bathroom break, we all know that’s when your smartphone / tablet is most useful :P
]]>That’s true, there are plenty of legit uses, and I’m sure the reason they showed someone popping into the game for 30 seconds was just to show that it was possible to connect with other devices. I was a little hard on Tablet-Drone Chris. I’d probably also feel differently if I actually owned a tablet.
]]>Ah, thanks! I didn’t catch that.
]]>Or if you’re on vacation or a business trip and can’t/won’t bring a computer (assuming it gets a release for PC) or your console then playing on a tablet is a very viable alternative as well.
In some situations you might even have one player playing this on a console with another player right next to them playing on a tablet.
So don’t knock the tablet option too hard, I think it has its uses.
]]>The gun the “main character” uses is a Vector Kriss SMG. It is a farily new gun so I haven’t seen it deployed by RL forces but it seems legitimate. Unlike the Jackhammer (never popular) or Spas-12 (obsolete) shotguns or the Desert Eagle pistol which are only well known because of video games and movies.
]]>I’m pretty sure the footage we are looking at made on a PC.
